West Long Branch Fox Captured

Borough police and animal control officer had been searching for animal for weeks

 

A skinny and possibly sick fox the West Long Branch Police and animal control officer had been seeking to capture for weeks has been caught.

The West Long Branch Police posted a picture of the fox on their Facebook page and said the animal, which is very skinny and is missing some patches of hair, is "safe and sound."

The animal had reportedly been seen by several residents in the northwest section of the borough.

West Long Branch Animal Control Officer Jim Miller will reportedly relocate the fox now that is has been captured.
