West Long Branch Fire Department Hosting Fundraiser For First Responders Affected by Sandy

Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19 in Long Branch

The West Long Branch Fire Department is hosting a fundraiser this weekend to help out the first responders affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Borough Chemical & Truck Company No. 1 Vice President Rich Cooper said the fundraiser will benefit "fire, police and EMS personnel that have had personal loss from Sandy while protecting our communities."

The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Celtic Cottage Pub, 608 Second Ave., Long Branch.

There will be food and drink specials, live music and a 50/50 raffle. A $25 donation is required for entry, and all proceeds will be given to first responders who are in need after Hurricane Sandy.
