West Avenue Fire Still Under Investigation
Fire being investigated by Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office
A that destroyed much of Mid Atlantic Food Distributors on West Avenue in Long Branch is being investigated by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, First Assistant Prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni confirmed.
The fire was reported around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 29 and was extinguished shortly after 11 p.m. The blaze appears to have started near the rear of the building.
Long Branch Fire Marshal Kevin Hayes said he could not comment on the fire, because it is being investigated by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
