UPDATE: Some Locked Cars Also Forced Open in Tinton Falls

Police advise residents to remove anything of value from parked cars.

Editor's Note: A previous version of this article stated that vehicles parked on Clover Hill Road  had items stolen from their interiors. The cars were parked on Cloverdale Circle.

While about over the last week, Tinton Falls Police said that "one or two" locked vehicles were also forced open.

Items taken from vehicles include laptop computers and cash, according to Ptl. Robert Delaune.

"If you value it, take it with you," said Delaune.

Vehicles that have been broken into have been located in the north side of town, according to Lt. Kevin Pierson. Specific streets include Hope Road, Sycamore Avenue, Willow Road and Cloverdale Circle.
