Two Long Branch Men Indicted for Burglary of Two Homes

Brick man also indicted for allegedly burglarizing a Manalapan and Tinton Falls home.

Two Long Branch men and one Brick resident were indicted by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office for burglarizing homes in Manalapan and Tinton Falls. 

Antonio Williams, 34, of Woodland Place, Long Branch, Greg Curry, 31, of Central Place, Long Branch and Bernard Valentin of Kentwood Boulevard, Brick were indicted on June 7 for the burglaries which occurred on Feb. 24.

In addition to the burglary charge, Williams, Curry and Valentin are facing several charges including theft of movable property for stealing over $500 in cash and jewelry from the Manalapan home and $75,000 in jewelry, collectible coins and a .45 caliber handgun from the Tinton Falls home.

The three men are also being charged with conspiracy for premeditatedly planning the burglary and traveling with crowbars, two-way radios and pillow cases that were used to carry jewelry stolen from the Manalapan home. They were also charged with criminal mischief for damaging the Manalapan resident's property during the burglary.

They were also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon for stealing  the handgun.

Finally, the three men were charged with the crime of "certain persons not to have weapons," for possessing the stolen handgun after previously being convicted of crimes that resulted in them not being allowed to own or have guns. Their previous crimes included burglary, aggravated assault, possession of a controlled dangerous substance. All their previous crimes occurred between March 2000 to May 2006.
