Two Indicted for Carrying Ilegal Hangun, Hollow Point Bullets, on Parkway
The two young Brick men were also arrested on drug charges by state police following a traffic stop.
Two Brick men have been indicted on weapons and drug charges after State Police stopped them for speeding in September.
According to Lt. Stephen Jones of the NJ State Police, a trooper pulled over the vehicle driven by Jair Oliver, 20, for speeding and failure to maintain a lane on the evening of Sept. 24, 2011. When the trooper approached the car he reportedly smelled marijuana.

Oliver and his passenger Ansel Appelwhite, 19, were taken out of the car and arrested. When officers searched the car they reportedly found a fully loaded .44 caliber handgun filled with hollow point rounds. They also reported finding oxycodone pills valued at more than $4,000.
Both men were charged with carrying an illegal weapon and with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office last week issued the indictments for the charges of illegal hand gun possession, prohibited weapon and drug possession.
