Police Blotter: Stolen wheelchair, Shoplifting and Possession of Marijuana

Police report for May 1 through May 10.

May 10: Three female subjects shoplifted from the store at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets. The manager confronted them and recovered five shirts, valued at $18.99 each from a bag one of the suspects was holding. The subjects fled with at least one stolen shirt. Ptl. Osofsky took the report.

May 10: A cell phone valued at $500 was stolen from the porch of a Newman Springs Road residence. The phone was delivered to the residence and no one answered the door, Sgt. Duane reported.

May 9: A jewelry bag containing a necklace, bracelet and pair of earrings was taken from a Peach Street residence. Sgt. Duane took the report.

May 5: A wheelchair valued at $100 was stolen from a resident at Liberty Royal Rehab on Wardell Road. Ptl. Osofsky took the report.

May 4: Appolonia Moore, 26, of Asbury Park was arrested for shoplifting two pairs of jeans valued at $169 each from the True Religion store at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets. Moore also had a $1,000 warrant for her arrest from Eatontown. She was released on $3,000 bail.

May 4: Marc Williams, 50, of Eatontown was arrested for violating a restraining order held against him and burglarizing that woman's car. He resisted arrest and was taken to the county jail and held on $30,000 bail. Pt. Pierson and Sgt. Duane were the arresting officers.

May 2: Jose Domniguez, 19, of Long Branch, fell asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle while driving to work on Wayside Road. Domniguez drove off the roadway and struck a utility pole, snapping it in half and getting it stuck under his vehicle. Verizon and JCP&L were called to repair pole, causing a traffic jam most of the day.

May 1: A woman left the Tinton Falls with a carriage full of groceries without paying for them. She was confronted by the store manager as she began to load the merchandise into her car. She got into the vehicle and drove off with almost all the groceries still in the carriage and about $445.27 worth of merchandise was recovered.

May 1: Lawrence M. Blusewicz, 28, of Ocean Grove was stopped for motor vehicle violations on Route 18 and subsequently found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

May 1: Paul Summey, 28, of Tinton Falls was arrested for possession of marijuana under 50 grams following a traffic stop on Shrewsbury Avenue.
