Suspects Charged in Tinton Falls Burglary

Two Howell residents are accused of stealing jewelry from an Asbury Avenue home.

Thanks to the work of Tinton Falls police, two suspects are being held on bail for a home burglary last summer.

According to Lt. David Scrivanic, on Sept. 15, 2011 officers responded to a home burglary on Asbury Avenue.  Det. Keith Terbecki was one of the responding officers. Through his investigation and evidence collected at the scene, Terbecki was able to sign complaints against Kelly Buchanan of Howell and Vincent Parnell of Howell.  Both were charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.  Buchanan is being held on bail of $37,000 and Parnell on $52,500 bail.   

According to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, Buchanan is accused of kicking in the rear door of the Tinton Falls home, causing $500 worth of damage, and then taking jewlery valued at $10,842.
