Man Wanted in Stabbing Incident Surrenders To Eatontown Police

Michael Scarlett was wanted in connection with the stabbing of a man in the Pine Tree Mobile Home Village earlier this month.

A man wanted in a stabbing incident has surrendered to Eatontown Police.

Michael W. Scarlett, 29, of Eatontown, turned himself in on Sunday, Oct 20, to answer the charges which had been signed against him a stabbing that occurred in the Pine Tree Mobile Home Village on Oct. 4, Eatontown Police Detective Lawrence Tyler said.

Scarlett was arrested and processed at the Eatontown Police Department and was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in lieu of $122,500 bail.

Tyler said Scarlett is facing charges of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
