Resident Charged With Possession of Drugs

Long Branch man also possessed drug paraphernalia at time of arrest, police say

A Long Branch resident has been arrested on drug and drug paraphernalia charges.

Rober M. Dolan, III, of Second Avenue, was arrested on July 18 in Long Branch and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia.

At the time of his arrest, Dolan had two straws that contained a powdery white residue that is suspected to be cocaine and a bag with cocaine residue, police said.

He also was found with zip lock bags containing oxycodone and alprazolam pills, police said. The complaint states that Dolan allegedly did not obtain the drugs with a valid prescription.

Dolan's bail was set at $7,500 and he is scheduled to appear in Monmouth County Superior Court on July 26.
