A 1-year-old pit bull was dumped at the Stony Hill apartments in Eatontown on Monday, Jan. 6, in "horrific condition" according to Victor “Buddy” Amato, chief law enforcement officer for the Monmouth County SPCA, an article on NJ.com states.

Amato told NJ.com he was waiting for the veterinary report from Red Bank Veterinary Hospital on the extent of Danny’s condition.

No arrests have been made, but Amato said they have suspects in the case and it is being actively investigated, the article states.
