POLICE BLOTTER: Tinton Falls Police Roundup

Arrests made by in Tinton Falls range from shoplifting at the outlets to heroin posession.

The Tinton Falls Police Department recorded the following arrests between Jan. 12 and Feb. 8:

On Jan. 12, Jason Steward, 28, of Tinton Falls was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. The subject was pulled over for a motor vehicle stop by Det. Joseph Schuler and was arrested on a warrant and found to have heroin in his possession.

On Jan. 14, Jennifer Spain, 42, of Neptune City was charged with theft of monies from the shopping plaza at 980 Shrewsbury Avenue. Det. Joseph Schuler and Ptl. Daniel Osofsky were the arresting officers.

On Jan. 14, Cpl. John Tallerica and Ptl. Daniel Osofsky arrested Robert Silva, 20, of Eatontown and charged with burglary on Wayside Road. The subject was also charged with DWI.

On Jan. 17, Ivy Walker, 34, of Neptune was arrested for shoplifting $169.99 in merchandise from the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets by Cpl. Christopher Grimm and Ptl. Christopher Duncan.

On Jan. 18, Dayshia Calhoun, 22, of Freehold was arrested for shoplifting $150 in merchandise from the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets by Det. Michael Delucia.

On Jan. 21, Kaire Hatcher, 18, of Tinton Falls was arrested for burglary by Det. Joseph Schuler. Hatcher was sent to Monmouth County Correntional Institution in lieu of $5,000 bail.

On Jan. 23, Tinton Falls resident Michael Reese, 20, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Subsequent to assisting a disabled motor vehicle, Reese was arrested by Cpt. John Tallerico and Ptl. Christopher Duncan for possession of marijuana (under 50 grams).

On Jan. 23, Michael Lewis, 25, of Dayton, NJ was charged with obstruction of the administration of the law following a motor vehicle stop on Sycamore Avenue by Ptl. Joe Muttie.

On Jan. 25, Stephanie Brazeau, 30, of Belmar was charged with fraudulently receiving prescriptions  by Det. Michael Delucia.

On Jan. 26, Yolanda Lawrence, 38, of Long Branch was charged with hindering apprehension by Sgt. Doug Mcentagart after a motor vehicle stop on Route 33.

On Jan. 26, Sgt. Matthew Park recovered an unoccupied stolen vehicle on Autumn Drive.
