Police Blotter: Oct. 27 - Nov. 8

Arrest and crime records released by the Tinton Falls Police Department on Nov. 10.

  • Oct. 27: Dominique Morrison, 23, of Neptune was charged with posession of marijuana under 50 grams after allegedly being caught smoking in a parked car at the Tinton Falls Center. Cpl. Tallarico made the arrest. Ptl. Whalen assisted.
  • Oct. 28: A handtruck valued at $100 was stolen from the Theory store at the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets. Ptl. Osofsky took the report.
  • Oct. 28: A 2011 Land Rover, valued at $80,000 was stolen from a Pegasus Dr. residence. Cpl. Tallarico took the report.
  • Oct. 29: A detached snow plow blade, valued at $2,000 was stolen from the parking lot of Health South Rehabilitation Center on Centre Plaza. Ptl. Pierson took the report.
  • Oct. 29: A theft at the Comfort Inn, Centre Plaza was reported. Clothing valued at $100 was reported stolen from a clothes dryer at the hotel. Ptl. Pierson took the report.
  • Nov. 2: An attempted burglary was reported at a Rutgers Dr. home. Someone tried to open a rear sliding door on the residence, but was prevented from doing so by the door's stop bar. Ptl. Pierson took the report.
  • Nov. 2: A burglary and theft was reported at a Hance Avenue home where someone broke into the residence through the back door and stole $1,050 in currency and change. Det. Shuler and Ptl. Osofsky investigated.
  • Nov. 2: An unidentified person passed counterfeit $100 bills at Green Leaf, Villa Pizza and Nathans restaurants at the Premium Outlets. Cpl Turso took the reports.
  • Nov. 8: A Droid cell phone valued at $450 was reported stolen from Dollar Tree on Shrewsbury Avenue after a customer mistakenly left it on the counter and left the store. Cpl. Tallarico took the report.
