Power has been restored to over 500 residents who were without power in Tinton Falls for several hours on Tuesday.
Tuesday's storm brought rain and high winds to the area and downed power lines in the borough.
Jersey Central Power & Light's (JCP&L) outage map now shows that less than 5 borough residents are currently without power.
Tinton Falls Police Lt. David Scrivanic said there were downed wires on Tinton Avenue near the borough hall and Riveredge Road at Heather Drive.
Tinton Avenue had been closed between Hope Road and Wayside Road, but that the problems have been corrected and the road has been reopened.
The storm has brought minimal outages to other Long Branch-Eatontown area towns, but there are now 95 reported outages in Long Branch as rain intensified on Tuesday night.
