More Arrests Made in Long Branch Gun and Drug Sweep

Three men charged still at large

Three more men have been arrested as part of a , while three others remain at large.

Keith Rogers, 40, of Asbury Park and Paul Brown, 39, of Long Branch, were arrested last week after turning themselves in and were processed at the Monmouth County Sheriff's department, according to Monmouth County Assistant Prosecutor Jim Jones.

Rogers and Brown turned themselves in after they learned officers went to their homes or the homes of their relatives, seeking to arrest them, Jones said.

Willie Starks, 34, of Long Branch, was arrested by the Long Branch Police on Monday.

Rogers was charged with third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and second degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distributed.

Rogers was previously arrested on July 1 along with Dario Woods, 32, of Asbury Park, when they were found with 40 brick of heroin during a motor vehicle stop in Tinton Falls. Rogers was released on $40,000 bail, following that arrest. For the most recent set of charges, Rogers' bail was set at $1 million

Brown and Starks were charged with second degree racketeering conspiracy. Brown and Starks are being held in held in Monmouth County jail in lieu of $250,000, cash-only bail with no 10 percent option.

Authorities are still searching for Steven Worsley, 38, of Beachwood, Patrick Norman, Sr., 54, of Tinton Falls, and Raymond Pridgen, 40, of Long Branch.

Worsley, Pridgen and Norman are all charged with second degree racketeering conspiracy for their parts in the drug and gun ring.

Norman is the father of Patrick Norman, Jr., 29, and Leon Norman, 26, both of Tinton Falls, who were arrested on Aug. 3, and charged with various possession and possession with intent type offenses, according to the prosecutor’s office.
