Man Shot, Killed in Long Branch Early Saturday Morning

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

A Long Branch resident was shot and killed in the city early Saturday morning, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Public Information Officer Charlie Webster.

The man was identified as Adrian Anderson, 23, of Joline Avenue. 

Webster said Anderson was found shot on a porch at 135 Liberty St. at 2:33 a.m. and was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:02 a.m.

No arrests in connection with the shooting have been made at this time.
