Man Charged With Shoplifting From West Long Branch Home Depot

Man stole electrical wire from store

A Highlands man has been arrested and charged for shoplifting from the Home Depot in West Long Branch.

Gary Austin, 32, of Highlands, was arrested and charged on Nov. 7 with shoplifting from the store, located at 310 Highway 36.

Austin allegedly concealed 10 rolls of electrical wire valued at $1,472.75.

Austin was sent to the Monmouth County Jail where his bail was set at $2,500. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 7.
