Long Branch Truck Driver Charged With Possessing Child Pornography

Man was arrested on May 23

 

A Long Branch man has been charged for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Peter Shevlin, 37, whose last known address was 539 Long Branch Ave., was arrested on May 23 by Det. Marshall Brown and was assisted by Detective Sgt. Josh Bard and Det. Mike Decker.

Shevlin, who was employed as a truck driver, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and is being held at Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $10,000 bail with no 10 percent option.

"The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected," Long Branch Police Capt. Jason Roebuck said in a release.
