Long Branch Superintendent Meets With Parents in Wake of Gregory School Incident

Superintendent held meeting this morning with parents

 

Long Branch Superintendent Michael Salvatore held a meeting with  parents Monday morning to discuss last Thursday's incident where .

The meeting reportedly lasted two hours as Salvatore explained the incident to 100 concerned parents.

Salvatore will also attend tomorrow's Long Branch PTA meeting at Gregory School at 7 p.m.

Parents were also sent a letter today describing what took place at Gregory School and were also informed that an investigation has been launched by the Long Branch Police, Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and Institutional Abuse/DYFS.

As of the Monday afternoon, neither of two school-employed maintenance workers had been charged for their alleged actions. The two employees have given their testimony to the Long Branch Police and have been suspended with pay.
