Long Branch Police Searching For Meat Market Robbers

Two masked men robbed owner and employee of Bull Boy Meat Market on Nov. 29

The Long Branch Police and Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office are investigating an armed robbery that occurred earlier this week in Long Branch.

According to Monmouth County Deputy First Assistant Prosecutor Kevin Clark, at 10 p.m. on Nov. 29, the owner of Bull Boy Meat Market on Broadway, and an employee were robbed by two masked men. Clark said one of the men was carrying a firearm and robbed the employees at gunpoint.

Clark said they took cash from the owner and employee and then fled on foot.

Long Branch Police said they could not comment about the incident, as it is still under investigation.
