Long Branch Man Indicted in Shrewsbury Nail Salon Robbery
Police said Rasul Muhammad broke into Nail Plus in April
Long Branch resident Rasul Muhammad was indicted by a Monmouth County Grand Jury Wednesday after allegedly breaking in and causing criminal mischief in a Shrewsbury nail salon in April.
According to court documents, Muhammad broke into Nail Plus, located in the 400 block of Broad Street, on April 2. The 52 year old broke the front door and the salon’s cash register, causing an estimated $1,500 in damage. He was indicted on a third degree count of burglary and a fourth degree criminal mischief charge.
Muhammad was also indicted on two counts, burglary and theft of moveable property, after a Grand Jury found he broke into a Long Branch business on April 13 and stole $255.
