Long Branch Man Indicted on Hit-and-Run Charge

Resident charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and other charges

A Long Branch man has been indicted by a Monmouth County Grand Jury for a hit-and-run incident.

Robert A. Garrabrant, 29, of Cedar Avenue has been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which in this case was a car, on July 13. He is also charged with charged with endangering an injured victim.

Garrabrant was charged with the third count, because after allegedly hitting the victim, who is not named in the indictment, he left the scene of the incident.
