Long Branch Condo Fire Still Under Investigation

Long Branch Fire Marshal Kevin J. Hayes Sr. says fire is still under investigation but there could be an update later this week

A blaze which destroyed an unoccupied Renaissance on the Ocean condominium on March 16 is still being investigated by Long Branch Fire Marshal Kevin J. Hayes Sr. and the Long Branch Police.

When contacted on Monday morning, Hayes said he could not release any information about the 33 Riviera Drive fire until the investigation is completed. Hayes said the investigation could be completed by the end of this week.

The fire was reported just after 11 a.m. on March 16 and was extinguished around 2 a.m. the next morning.
