Joline Avenue Laundromat Robbed at Gunpoint

Police searching for two black males

 

The Joline Laundromat on Route 36 in Long Branch was robbed by two men on Monday night.

Long Branch Police Capt. Jason Roebuck said the robbery occurred just after 9 p.m. when two black males entered the laundromat wearing all black with black hooded sweatshirts.

Capt. Roebuck said one of the males had a sliver handgun and pointed it at the attendant while the other took $270 from the cash register. 

The two men reportedly fled east on Joline Avenue after the robbery.

Capt. Roebuck asked anyone with information about the incident to call the Long Branch Police Detective Bureau at 732-222-1000 and to speak to Det. Scott Beaver at ext. 5328.
