Indictments: Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Attempted Burglary and Heroin Possession

The Grand Jury handed down indictments this week

The following indictments were handed down by the Grand Jury in Freehold this week:

  • Luke Haydu, 25, 155 Belmar Ave., Oakhurst, was charged with one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (third degree) when he was arrested in Asbury Park on Aug. 5 for heroin possession.
  • Thomas Price, 21, 1600 S. Wanamassa Drive, Ocean, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (third degree) for his June 4 arrest in Little Silver for attempting to cause injury with a bottle.
  • Jaheem Workman, 19, 1228 First Ave., Asbury Park, was charged with one count of attempted burglary (third degree) for trying to break into an Ocean Township home on July 27. Workman was also charged with obstruction of justice (fourth degree).
  • Juan Ridgeway, 27, 8 Henry St., Lakewood, was charged with one count of false statement made in procuring issuance of a credit card (fourth degree) following his Oct. 31 arrest in Eatontown.
  • Ray Spencer, 39, 18 Willow St, Eatontown, was charged with one count of obstruction of justice (fourth degree) following his Aug 15 arrest in Eatontown. Spencer was also charged with a second count of eluding for failing to pull over for police while driving through Eatontown, Ocean Township, Tinton Falls, Neptune and Wall Township.
  • Kirk Charlton, 47, 310 Atkins Ave., Asbury Park, was charged with one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (third degree) following his Aug. 19 arrest in Ocean Township for possession of heroin.
