UPDATE: Hundreds Still Without Power in Long Branch-Eatontown Area
West Long Branch has most outages
Hundreds of homes are in the dark on Thursday morning after high winds and rain pounded the Long Branch-Eatontown area yesterday
Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) shows that most of the outages are in West Long Branch. There are currently 279 homes without power in the borough, down from 545 late Wednesday night.
There are 202 outages in Eatontown and 166 outages in Tinton Falls. Long Branch has a smaller amount with 34 homes in the dark.

Traffic on Route 36 is slow this morning because of downed wires in the area, so if you have not left for work yet, try to plan an alternate route.
