Four Arrested and Charged With Beating Up Man at Long Branch Windmill

Four Long Branch residents facing multiple charges

 

Four Long Branch residents are facing multiple chrages after they allegedly beat up a 38-year-old man at the in Long Branch.

The incident occurred on April 8 at 2:15 a.m. at the Windmill at 586 Ocean Blvd., according to Long Branch Police Detective Capt. Jason Roebuck.

Detective Capt. Roebuck said the man was allegedly "kicked in the head and face several times after being knocked unconscious in a fight," and was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center with severe facial injuries. He said the assailants fled the scene after the assault.

Detective Lt. Raymond Chaparro and Det. Michael Verdadiero along with the other members of the Long Branch Detective Bureau were able to identify the the men and women who allegedly assaulted the man. The four individuals were arrested on April 13 and the vehicle they allegedly fled the scene in was seized for forfeiture.

The four individuals arrested were:

Vanessa Rivera, 27, of Washington Street, was charged with aggravated assault and endangering an injured victim. Rivera was lodged in Monmouth County Correctional Institute (MCCI) in lieu of $65,000 bail.

Pedro DeJesus Jr, 27, of Washington Street, was charged with endangering an injured victim and was released on a summons.

Rebecca DeJesus, 24, of Westwood Avenue, was charged with endangering an injured victim and was released on a summons.

Ramon DeJesus, 25, of Westwood Avenue, was charged with aggravated assault and endangering an injured victim. DeJesus was was transported to MCCI and released on $25,000 bail.
