Eight Local Special Police Officers Graduate Academy
Seven officers will serve in Long Branch and the other will serve in West Long Branch
Local police departments will be receiving some help in time for the holiday season as eight special police officers graduated from the Monmouth County Police Academy on Thursday.
Seven of the officers will serve Long Branch and the other will help staff the West Long Branch Police Department.

- David C. Ebert II: LBPD
- Sean Hauschildt: LBPD
- John Mania: LBPD
- Brian O'Keefe: LBPD
- Brian Oliveira: LBPD
- Benjamin J. Springer: LBPD
- James Tiggs III: LBPD
Seventeen other special police officers graduated that will be serving towns such as Belmar, Manasquan, Spring Lake and Monmouth Beach. The graduating officers completed 610 hours of training.
Special Officer Springer was awarded the Marksmanship Award and the Outstanding Trainee Award.
