Eatontown Police Searching For Suspects Who Robbed Woman of Xbox at Gunpoint

Police say the robbers took the gaming console after she told them she did not have any money in her apartment.

A woman was robbed of her Xbox 360 at gunpoint in her Eatontown apartment after she told two men she did not have any money to give them, Eatontown Police Det. Lawrence Tyler said.

The robbers, who have not yet been located, were described as black males, ages 20-25, with thin builds. Both were wearing hooded sweatshirts and ski masks at the time of the robbery, which occurred in the Country Club Apartments on the morning of Nov. 18.

Tyler said there officers in the area of building 69 in the complex for an unrelated incident when the 30-year-old robbery victim told police what had happened to her.

The woman, whose name was not released by police, had her 13-month-old in the apartment with her at the time of the robbery. Neither the victim or her child were harmed during the robbery, Tyler said.

The Monmouth County sheriff’s Department responded to the scene to assist with a tracking K-9, but were unable to located the robbers.
