Eatontown Police Make Another Arrest in Wolcott Park Stabbing

A 19-year-old Asbury Park man was arrested on Sept. 9 in connection with the July 2 stabbing of an Eatontown teen following a dispute in the neighboring McDonald's parking lot.

Eatontown Police have arrested a second man in connection with the July 2 of an Eatontown teen.

Tyjuan Browning, 19, of 225 Asbury Village, Asbury Park, was arrested on Friday by Det. Philip Emanuele for the attempted murder of a 15 year old following a dispute in the McDonald's parking lot on Route 35 that left the victim stabbed 11 times in the head, neck and back, according to police.

Browning was charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an illegal purpose and taken to Monmouth County Correctional Institution and held on $250,000 bail, according to Lt. Lawrence Tyler of the Eatontown Police.

Following witness interviews and an investigation, probable cause was established and police issued a warrant for Browning's arrest on Friday and believe he is the suspect who was in possession of the knife used in the assault. Police had found a folding buck knife at the scene of the crime following the incident in July.

, 20, of Borden Avenue in Asbury Park on Aug. 6 for alleged involvement in the attack.

The stabbing followed a late-night altercation in the parking lot at the McDonald's on Route 35 in Eatontown. The victim was chased into neighboring by four assailants and was stabbed 11 times with a folding buck knife when he slipped and fell to the ground.

Two other teenage victims were assaulted during the attack by four allegedly black male suspects who fled the scene following the incident.
