Eatontown Man Who Watched Women in Bathroom of Eatontown Sheraton Faces More Charges

Man also charged with possessing child pornography

 

A man who in the bathroom of the Eatontown Sheraton in April is facing more charges.

William J Marsh, 42, of Sandspring Drive was arrested and charged with invasion of privacy, criminal attempt to commit Invasion of Privacy, and trespassing on April 21, and now he has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Following his arrest, authorities searched his home and found an image on his computer that had an "image depicting a child engaged in a prohibited sexual act," according to court documents.

According to Eatontown Police Detective Lt. Lawrence Tyler, Marsh admitted to entering the women’s bathroom in the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel for the purpose of allegedly observing the female patrons while in the bathroom and also masturbating while in the bathroom stalls. Marsh allegedly did so at least six times since the beginning of this year.

Marsh was arrested on June 6 for his latest charge and lodged in Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
