Child, 8, Injured in 5-Car Crash in Long Branch

None of the injuries were life-threatening, according to reports.

Four people were hospitalized after a five-car accident in Long Branch Saturday afternoon, app.com reports. One of those injured was an 8-year-old Galloway Township child, according to the article.

A car driven by Walter Jagielski, 40, of Eatontown struck the vehicle in front of him and led to a chain reaction involving three other vehicles on Broadway and Grove streets, the app.com reported.

None of the injuries sustained were life-threatening. Jagielski was issued  a summons for careless driving, according to app.com.
