Car Overturns In Route 36/Monmouth Road Accident

Driver reportedly sustained minor injury

A driver was injured after his vehicle overtuned during a one-car accident in West Long Branch on Wednesday morning.

According to West Long Branch Police Capt. Larry Mihlon, the police received a call about the accident at the intersection of Monmouth Road and Route 36 at 6:41 a.m.

"A 2003 Jeep Laredo apparently overturned as it attempted to navigate from Monmouth Road onto State Highway 36," Capt. Mihlon said this morning.

Capt. Mihlon said the driver, whose name is not being released, sustained an injury to his finger and that a MONOC Paramedic Unit assisted the driver from the vehicle.
