Allenhurst Will Have DWI Checkpoint This Weekend

Checkpoint will be run from 11 p.m. Saturday through 3 a.m. Sunday

The Monmouth County DWI Task force will conduct a DWI checkpoint to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs in Allenhurst this weekend

The checkpoint will be run from 11 p.m. Saturday through 3 a.m. Sunday at Main Street and Elboron Avenue, according to Brielle Police Chief Michael Palmer, who also serves as task force coordinator

Task force members and Allenhurst Police officers will pull vehicles from the northbound lanes of Main St. onto Elboron Ave to determine driver’s sobriety.
