Such programs are often criticized by judging the recipients of aid as lazy moochers. Our veterans certainly do not fall into that category. Among other things, the Ryan Budget targets $732 billion in cuts to Medicaid, and makes Medicare into a block grant for the states to determine how they want to use it.
