Eatontown ratables

Germane to the issue of ‘ratables’ badly needed to fill the boroughs coffers, this is not just a local problem, those in doubt need to do nothing more than take a drive on route 35 from what once was the Asbury circle and drive north to Shrewsbury. One after another he would see ‘for sale’ and ‘for rent signs along with boarded up windows and abandoned property. Then, if one takes a drive off the main drag into the tree lined developments and notes the number of homes that are for sale he would realize the obvious. One does not need to be a prodigy or excel in economics to read the handwriting on the wall. Clearly, Eatontown is part of a much larger economic problem which I do not see as getting better.
