Hannah Rose Duffy, age 14, earned her angel wings on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 9:40 pm., following a year-long battle with brain cancer. She passed peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family.
She was born on March 18, 1999, in Livingston, NJ, the daughter of Susan Funck and Kevin Duffy. She graduated from 8th grade this past spring and would have been a high school freshman at MRHS this year. Her love for soccer was endless, and she played with heart and soul during every game. Hannah was an amazing girl, full of light and love, a true testament to what it means to be courageous.
