Superstorm Sandy Survivor Dies at 59

Kathleen Printz enjoyed sailing throughout the Sandy Hook Bay.

Kathleen T. Printz, 59, of West Long Branch passed away Thursday at her home.

She was born in Fort Polk, La. She lived in Highlands for 32 years, moving to West Long Branch after she and her husband lost their home in Hurricane Sandy. She was an avid sailor, sailing throughout Sandy Hook Bay. She is a former member of the Sandy Hook Yacht Club. Kathleen was a loving and wonderful person. She her pride and joy were her nephews and niece, D.J., Harry, Charlie, Brian, James, Matthew and Tiffany.

Surviving is her husband, Roger A. Printz; her parents Elizabeth and Charles Maine, Munroe, Twp; her siblings and their spouses, Eileen and Donald Best, Little Silver, Brian and Margaret Maine, South River and Kevin and Christine Maine, Perkasie, Pa.
