Memorial for Producer, Singer 'Romanthony' to be Held Saturday

Anthony Wayne Moore is best known for his collaboration with Daft Punk.

A memorial service for Anthony Wayne Moore, famously known as Romanthony, will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Eatontown on Saturday, July 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Moore, 46, died on May 7 in his Austin, Texas home due to complications of kidney disease, according to a story in the Huffington Post.

He was an American disc jockey, house producer and singer best known for his collaboration with Daft Punk on “One More Time,” the Huffington Post reported. The song was ranked No. 307 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list and No. 33 on the magazine’s 100 Best Songs of the 2000s.

Moore, a New Jersey native, owned Black Male Records, a record label based in Eatontown.
