Report: 25 Killed on Monmouth Roads From 2009-2011

Tri-State Transportation Campaign map shows where pedestrians have been struck and killed.

Twenty-five pedestrians were killed on Monmouth County roads in the three years from 2009 to 2011, according to a report from the Tri-State Transportation Campaign (TSTC).

The TSTC analysis of National Highway Traffic Safety Administration fatality data reveals that Route 9 and Route 36 had the highest number of pedestrian deaths over the period studied, with five and three deaths respectively.
