Monmouth University communication student Ray Bogan (Sea Girt, NJ) is interning at My9 television this summer and gaining important work experience.
Bogan began his internship working for My9 news assisting reporters in the field and learning how a newsroom operates. Currently, he is working on a new line of original programming with producers and the station manager. His responsibilities include pitching story ideas to the station manager and producer, booking guests, and assisting in the production of pilots and reels.
“This internship benefits my career goals. It is really exciting to get a firsthand view of how a television program is put together and learn new skills.”
