Pedaling from North Carolina to Eatontown Farmer's Market

You never know what you’ll find at Eatontown Farmer’s Market.  Pedaling from Wilmington, North Carolina to New York City to raise money for Save the Children, brothers Roberto and Angelo Giambra stopped by the Farmer’s Market Sunday. and cooled off ( a little bit) in Wampum Park.

The brothers have been pedaling their bicycles and hauling their musical equipment since June 5.  They hope to be in NYC in one or two days.  Roberto and Angelo came to the US in 1996 from Torino, Italy and became citizens, according to their website www.pedalingmusic.com, in 2001.  When they are not on the road they perform as “Rotage” with a third brother.  We understand their music is a combination of classical and pop/rock.

They have played at bars and  pizzerias during their journey north.  They spent last night in Allaire State Park.  Some nights they just sleep in parking lots.

To learn more about them and donate to Save the Children, you can go to their website (www.pedalingmusic.com) or follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
