Long Branch School District Hosting Two Holiday-Themed Events This Week

District hosting community brunch, tree lighting

The Long Branch School District will host two holiday-themed events this week for students and their families.

The District Tree Lighting will be held on Dec. 18 at 5 p.m. on the campus of the district's two preschools. The activities will take place between the Joseph M. Ferraina Early Childhood Learning Center, 80 Avenel Blvd., and the Lenna W. Conrow School, 355 Long Branch Ave.

Students will perform holiday songs and there will be train rides, bouncy rides, snacks and photos with Santa.

The Community Holiday Brunch is set for Dec. 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Gregory Elementary School, 201 Monmouth Ave.

The brunch is open to all Long Branch families and is a free event. It will feature a family-style meal, music, activities, arts and crafts, face painting & photos with Santa.
