Shore Players Planning Latest Performances

You're A Good Man Charlie Brown will be performed in December.

Shore Regional's theater program, the Shore Players, is currently busy preparing for its latest performance, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. 

The play will be performed on the Shore Regional stage from Dec. 5-8 with a sneak preview for senior citizens on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The Shore Players have also announced their spring performance, Sweet Charity, for March.

You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a 1967 musical comedy based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz's characters from the comic strip Peanuts.

Performances are Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m., Dec. 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 8 at 2 p.m.  The performance for senior citizens will be offered on Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. 

Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors. Tickets purchased at the door will cost $12.  For tickets, call 732-222-9300 ext.2550 or email shoreplayerstix@shoreregional.org.

Some familiar Shore Players faces will bring Peanuts characters to life on the stage for You're A Good Man Charlie Brown including Jake Cameron as Charlie Brown, Michael Sweeney  as Linus and Hannah Stone as Lucy. 

Director Todd Aikens is enjoying his 4th season of leadership with Shore Players and has been in charge of several memorable performances including Grease in 2013. Rounding out the production staff of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown are Producer, Randee Skloff, Musical Director Marcy Manfredi, and student Choreographer Emerald “Emme” Rempel.
