Library Literary Program: Celebrating Dorothy Parker

Under the Table with Dorothy Parker: A Celebration of Cocktails

Presented by the Long Branch Public Library and the Long Branch Historical Association.

Kevin C. Fitzpatrick, founder and president of the Dorothy Parker Society, will be discussing his newest book Under the Table: A Dorothy Parker Cocktail Guide on November 20th. Mr. Fitzpatrick's book talk and signing promises to be an intoxicating look at Prohibition, the Jazz Age and the members of the Algonquin Round Table, through the lens Mrs. Parker enjoyed the most: the bottom of a glass.  Light refreshments will be served. A Dorothy Parker display will be featured by the library. Program attendees are invited bo meet after the program at The Mix on Brighton Avenue in West End to enjoy cocktails and toast Mrs. Parker's legendary wit.  Wednesday, Nov. 20th in the Meeting Room at the Main Library.  This program is free and open to the public.
