Identity Within - Readings by Robert P. Langdon and Gwynneth Green

Robert P. Langdon was the Gallery U Manager back when Gallery U was in Red Bank. He was also instrumental in reviving the Red Bank Art Walks. Well, Robert is back - as a poet. He’s being joined by Gwynneth Green, a Jersey girl. Gwynneth is a prolific poet who lived in Northwestern New Jersey for 30 years before moving to the Shore area four years ago.

Both will be reading their poetry in Asbury Park, and you are cordially invited to attend. Robert’s work focuses on issues of identity. He uses poetry as a way to work through personal issues and reflect on meaningful events in his life, and will be reading from his recently published book, "The Candied Road Ahead: Poems & Stories." Gwynneth has published six books of poetry and is at work on two more. Her work is spiritual, poetic and musical, a mirror of her inner core. Both Robert and Gwynneth will have their books available at the event.

Gwynneth’s lineage includes both healing as well as artistry. Her father was a renowned neurosurgeon and her grandfather, Bud Green, was the world famous lyricist of Sentimental Journey fame. Writing is her passion and her musings on life’s journey are unique.
