Free Art Workshops for Families Impacted by Brain Tumors

The David S. Zocchi Brain Tumor Center at Monmouth Medical Center will sponsor free healing arts workshops for families whose lives have been affected by brain tumors on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, June 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at SurfTaco, located at 1003 Main Street in Belmar.

The art workshops give families the opportunity to socialize with others impacted by the diagnosis of a brain tumor and serve as a forum for expression through creativity, friendship and just being. Appointments with a social worker are available upon request.

The David S. Zocchi Brain Tumor Center at the Leon Hess Cancer Center at Monmouth Medical Center provides a full spectrum of comprehensive services to treat benign and malignant tumors originating in the brain and spinal cord, as well as neurological complications of cancer that has spread to other regions of the body.
