Your Heart and Electrical Disturbances

Your heart has it own electrical stimulator, the sinus node, which generates electrical impulses that flow through you heart.  If something goes wrong with the sinus node or the flow of electrical impulses, an arrhythmia can result causing your heart to beat too fast, too slow or in an irregular fashion. Join Delia J. Dobrescu, MD, Cardiology and Electrophysiology, Monmouth Medical Center, for a discussion on various irregular heartbeats, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.
