Take-Off for a Bumpy Night of Laughs with Boeing-Boeing!

Sparks fly, doors slam and romantic hijinks ensue in the 1960s farce Boeing-Boeing being performed by the award-winning Monmouth Regional High School Drama Club this November 29th, 30th, & December 1st.

What do you get when you combine an eager playboy, three beautiful airline hostesses and a Paris suite? Answer: A bumpy night full of laughs. Boeing-Boeing, the high-flying, Tony award-winning comedy that had London and Broadway audiences airborne with laughter, lands for its Monmouth County debut at Monmouth Regional High School in Tinton Falls this week. Bernard, a successful American architect living in a posh Paris apartment, has been deftly juggling three fiancées who are all flight attendants. But, this supersonic lifestyle hits turbulence when his old college friend visits and each of his three fiancées change their flight schedule.

The cast features six extremely talented young performers from Tinton Falls & Eatontown: Nick D’Ambrosia as playboy Bernard, Paolo Arceo as his aloof college roommate Robert, Danielle Gordon as his grumpy & frumpy housekeeper Bertha, Taylor Tote as the lovely TWA fiancée Gloria, Jena Angeliadis as the beautiful Alitalia fiancée Gabriella, & Sayde Abrams as the passionate Lufthansa fiancée Gretchen.

The creative team for the Monmouth County Premier includes direction and scenic design by MRHS alum Anthony Greco, winner of last years Basie Award for Best Direction for The 39 Steps, lighting & sound design by Basie Award winner Dave Ahlers, costume design by Perry Award & Basie Award nominee Jacquie Revier, the entire production is produced by Drama Club Advisor Jack Pensabene.

Boeing-Boeing opens at the 600-seat Monmouth Regional High School Performing Arts Center, located at 1 Norman J Field Way Tinton Falls, on November 29th and has additional performances on November 30th and December 1st, all with performances at 8:00 PM. Tickets will be sold at the theater on the nights of the performances for $5.00 for Seniors & Students (with proper id) and $8.00 for Adults. Support your local students in their pursuit of the performing arts cause you will not want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
