PRE-DIABETES AND DIET

Wednesday, November 14 at 1 p.m.

If your blood glucose levels are higher than normal but not high enough to be called diabetes, that means you have pre-diabetes.  If you’ve been diagnosed with pre-diabetes consider yourself fortunate – you’ve been given an early warning to take steps to get back on a healthy track.  Join our dietitian, Lauren Dorman, RD, Certified Diabetes Educator, Center for Diabetes Education at Monmouth Medical Center, to learn how to prevent, delay or even reverse pre-diabetes.  This program, for ages 50 and older, will take place at SCAN Learning Center at Monmouth Mall, located at Routes 35 & 36, Eatontown. Registration required by calling 732-542-1326. Free.
